Two film stars reconnect when the show where they met stages a reunion special.I've shied away from ARCs for the past year, but I accepted this one when I read a review likening it to Dawson's Creek. Sadly, it didn't leave that impression with me. Liv and Ransom's communication issues were frustrating, not cute or romantic. The "we used to be/are best friends who don't actually talk to one another" trope is apparently not my thing. Perhaps my definition of best friends is different from others, but I feel like my casual friends know more about me than the "best friends" in these type of stories. The rest of the story was pretty forgettable too. This is my third(?!?) Hollywood romance this year, but none of them have wowed me.
