Journalist Georgia Ross runs into the brother of her childhood best friend at the airport, beginning a whirlwind romance that changes both of their lives.

Best friend's brother? Check. Forced proximity? Check. Secret identity? Check. Whirlwind romance? Check. I don't even like half of these tropes, but I was emotional invested despite them as I read about these two souls connecting. When I started reading it, I had no idea the romantic male lead would have ties to the K-drama world. Since I've fallen in love with K-dramas, it was easy to fall in love with Alec Kim. While I didn't particularly love Georgia, I appreciated her tenacity and willingness to push herself out of her comfort zone to help others.

I'd guesstimate twenty-five percent of this book is foreplay and sex scenes, but I'm not going to complain. They were done well and the plot never dragged between them. My biggest issue is probably the ending. It was so DRAMTIC, but I do think it fit really well within the framework of the K-drama genre. I mean, come on, drama is in the name. So while I winced through the ending, I do think it was meant to be melodramatic. Oh, and yes, I do hate this cover. Overall I enjoyed this immensely and can't wait to see other books by this author on my list.
