Faith accidentally falls into another world and binds her fate to one of the fallen gods in this steamy fantasy romance.
While I've not been interested in Dixon's Ice Planet Barbarians series, I have been wanting to read one of her other romances. This book perfectly fit my mood and expectations. Faith and Aron had loads of chemistry and memorable moments as they worked together to defeat the fallen gods of Aron's world. Faith falling through a worm hole and being pretty much unscathed, psychologically and physically, felt unrealistic and one-dimensional, but it rarely pulled me away from the story. The world building was certainly fascinating, but also a bit too convoluted to be easily understandable the first read through. I'm not sure if I would want to continue reading this series, but I certainly enjoyed this book.
